Dear Friends,
We are winding down another successful year for the Iroquois Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America. It has been my pleasure to watch the growth of Packs, Troops, Crews, and Posts as youth continue their positive (and FUN!) activities. We are grateful for the time our dedicated volunteers take to share positive role modeling with the youth in Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Orleans and eastern Niagara counties.
Our Board of Directors is reviewing a new Strategic Plan which hopes to build our Council's work and provide us with outside financial resources to grow our programs. Additional funds are necessary to continue our postive work; however, we cannot do this alone.
Today I am asking you to consider a year-end gift to the Iroquois Trail Council to assist us with programming, camperships and camp maintenance. Friends of Scouting is Key to our success in rural Western New York, and your gift is appreciated by the 2,500 youth and 1,100 volunteers who benefit from our positive, character-focused activities.
Thank you for your consideration and have a blessed Christmas season.
Yours in Scouting,
James McMullen, Scout Executive
